Chelsea Flower Show

ChelseaOur garden in the great Pavilion at Chelsea this year was different from our recent exhibits. Our outdoor kitchen garden exhibited a sumptuous display of Mediterranean garden produce. Mature fruiting trees, specimen herbs, vegetables and spices combined to excite all the senses. The central feature was a traditional outdoor clay oven, from Orchard Ovens, surrounded by warm terracotta paving. Around it gathered pots, boxes, jars and bundles of every type of garden produce. Various low painted rustic walls contained dramatic planting combinations of form and colour with fabulous aromas and textures evocative of southern Italy.
Our exhibit was created for us by Paul Stone of Paul Stone Gardens. Paul was formerly of Squire's Landscapes and now lives and works in Cornwall www.paulstonegardens.co.uk.
