Display Your Patriotic Colours!

This year is the time to celebrate being British, especially with the Jubilee and Olympics fast approaching, and Squire’s have the perfect range of patriotic flowers to create a beautiful display in your garden. Squire’s have recommended the best plants and flowers for you to choose to create three truly British displays.

 The Brittania (Container Display)

Using a classic red mini Petunia, a cream white Verbena, a cool blue Brachycome and an Upright Fuschia as the centerpiece, create a beautiful hanging basket display.

The Buckingham (Container Display)

This Royal display requires a striking Trailing Diascia and Trailing Bacopa, an upright Bedding Lobelia and a Zonal Pelargonium (Upright Gernaium) as the centerpiece.

 The Greenwich (Container Display)

To create this display you’ll need to select and arrange a bright red Begonia semperflorens or Fuschia, an Upright Geranium or Trailing Verbena, a blue Brachycome or Mini Petunia and finish it off with Ivy or Nepeta to give it a green hue.

Create and celebrate at Squire’s Garden Centres this summer, staffed by Squire’s Horticultural experts customers can ask them anything they need to know about their planting needs in order to create the perfect display at home.

All plants and flowers available in Squire’s Garden Centres.
