Planting the Locks

Squires Garden Centre Squire's Garden Centres have once again joined forces with the Environment Agency to brighten up the locks along a stretch of the Thames. Lock Keepers were provided with an array of colourful plants to create their own beautiful displays which provide an attractive backdrop for all who use them. 

Colin Squire says "The River can get very busy during the summer months and locks are in constant use, not just by those on the water but also by walkers, tourists and local residents. Squire's have been involved for many years and are proud to support the Lock Keepers in providing a great environment for all to enjoy, whether you are a regular visitor or just passing through."
