A great turn out for Squire's Mediterranean Evening

Squires Garden Centre Squire's Garden Centre Shepperton held a special Mediterranean themed evening which was a great success.

On a warm summer evening visitors were greeted with a complimentary glass of Sangria followed by wine tasting by Majestic Wines and specialties from Alio's Deli. One of Squire's plant experts, Steven Guy, gave a very enjoyable and informative talk on Mediterranean plants and was on hand to answer any questions. The evening was finished off with a delicious 3-course Spanish meal at Seasons during which a raffle was held in support of Greenfingers, the charity committed to creating magical gardens for children's hospices around the country. The Garden Centre looked splendid decked out in national colours and flags.

Colin Squire commented "We were delighted to welcome so many local people to the centre many of whom joined us last year. Both visitors and staff enjoyed a very special evening with some Mediterranean weather to go with it".

If you missed this event, don't forget there is a whole week of entertainment at Squire's Twickenham Monday 22 to Sunday 28 June in support of Greenfingers including a Circus Skills Workshop on Saturday 27 June and Visiting Farm on Sunday 28 June, great fun for our younger visitors.
