“Feeding London: the forgotten market gardens” at Twickenham only

Event date: 11th January 2016 - 15th February 2016

Join us at Squire's Twickenham to see the Feeding London exhibition. The exhibition is organised by the Environment Trust and traces the growth, peak and decline of the production of fruit, vegetables and flowers in the area. Discover the innovative methods of growing and the specialist varieties developed in the area, designed in order to produce more efficient, year-round crops, as well as to combat overseas’ competition. Open Monday–Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 10:30am to 4:30p

Gardening Workshop – Early Spring Trug

Event date: 19th February 2016 - 19th February 2016

Add some colour to your garden with a wicker trug filled with bulbs, primroses, ivy and euonymus. You will also receive a voucher for a free tea or coffee to enjoy in our café bar. The workshop is running on 19 February at 10am and 2pm and costs just £20 per person, this includes all tuition, equipment, plants, and material necessary to create your spring trug to take home.
