In addition, visitors had the chance to enjoy the impressive and artistic creations of members of Walton & Weybridge Flower Club, who attended the event. The club’s displays received record votes from members of the public, who were invited to nominate the best displays.
The two day event also brought visitors live music, food and drink tastings from suppliers including
Silent Pool gin and Weber barbecues. Dylan’s ice cream also attended with their famed flavours, offering visitors some refreshing reprieve from the welcome sunshine. Blessed with fine weather, the event delivered a relaxed garden party atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
Colin Squire, President of The Rose Society UK, comments: “The Rose Show is a very important show and has national status – and this year had international judges in attendance. A wonderful weekend was enjoyed by exhibitors, visitors and VIPs, which was tremendous as the Rose Show is such an important Show to growers. Once again, we were delighted to host the Show, now in its 47th year! The weekend received record attendance by visitors – many travelling quite a distance – who appreciated everything that was on offer over and the garden party atmosphere.”
