Chairman's Update - All centres are open - Squires Garden Centres

Chairman’s Update – All centres are open

We are delighted that garden centres have been permitted to open. We very much look forward to welcoming you back into our centres. All of our centres have now reopened with strict social distancing measures in place, to ensure your shopping experience is as safe as possible.

Our temporary opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9am – 5:30pm and Sunday 10:30am – 4:30pm

Please be aware that our centres may look rather different from your last visit. We have plenty of plants and gardening products, but you may wish to consider substitutes if your usual plants or brands are not available, as our suppliers are also working under constraints at this time.

The measures we have implemented are very detailed and include a number of alterations to our centres to help you shop more safely and efficiently, including;

  • We are restricting the number of people in our centres at any one time and therefore, visitors are limited to 2 per household.
  • A parent or guardian may be accompanied by one child under the age of 16. The parent may also bring a baby if in a push chair or baby carrier.
  • We have introduced a one-way system. Please shop as efficiently as you are able and avoid browsing and picking up or touching items you do not wish to purchase.
  • Our Café Bars remain closed.

Hopefully over time, we shall be able to review these restrictions.

General deliveries – During these early days of reopening, our delivery service is working on reduced capacity and therefore limited to garden furniture, barbecues and large specimen plants that cannot be transported by car. Minimum spend and delivery charges may apply.

Special delivery service for the elderly and vulnerable only – If you are elderly, have a medical condition or a disability that prevents you visiting the centre, you can use our Gardening Order Form. The minimum order value is £50 and we deliver within 7 miles of a centre (5 miles of Squire’s Twickenham). If you are able to visit our centres, then we ask you to please not use this limited service. We are not offering a Click and Collect service for the time being.

Please bear with us as we all get used to these new ways of working.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
