Food Hall at Squire’s Wokingham open throughout lockdown
If you are looking for a new place to shop for groceries this November and December then try the Food Hall at Squire’s Garden Centre in Wokingham.
It’s open seven days a week throughout lockdown and sells a huge range of essentials, including fresh bread, fruit, vegetables, eggs, milk and cheese. Or if you don’t want to cook from scratch there’s also a freezer section selling delicious meals from COOK. The Food Hall opened in September and offers a mouth-watering array of products, many of which are sourced locally from Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire, supporting local businesses and reducing food miles.
The Food Hall has been a lifeline for many in the local community, as it sells everything you need, has a friendly and welcoming shopping environment, and free parking. To offer customers an even safer shopping experience Squire’s is now open earlier on Mondays to Saturdays (8.30am-6pm), and the usual opening hours on Sundays (10.30am to 4.30pm). The garden centre is also open for all your gardening essentials.
Sarah Squire, Chairman of Squire’s Garden Centres commented; “Following the latest government announcement of the new national restrictions, our garden centres and Food Halls, along with other retailers providing essential goods and services can remain open. The Food Hall at Squire’s Wokingham brings the very best local food and drink together under one roof – reducing food miles and keeping the best flavours right here in our community. Working with the local community has been at the heart of our family philosophy for more than 80 years. We are here for you 7 days a week with free parking. Our number one priority is the safety of our teams and customers, so we continue to operate with our strict Covid-19 secure measures.”
