Get Hands On With Squire’s Expert-Led Spring & Summer Masterclasses
Squire’s Garden Centres invites garden lovers of all levels to join their upcoming seasonal masterclasses, offering the perfect opportunity to create beautiful planted displays while learning expert tips from their horticultural specialists.
Activity: NEW for 2025! Spring Herb Pot Masterclass – £25 per person, bookable online
Date/Timings: Friday, 14 March 2024; sessions running at 10am and 2pm

This spring – and new for 2025 – gardeners can enjoy the Spring Herb Pot Masterclass on Friday 14 March, where they’ll design and plant a stunning herb-filled terracotta pot with seasonal blooms and aromatic herbs, available in a choice of a whitewash or graphite finish. Attendees will learn about soil preparation, plant selection and care, ensuring their potted herbs thrive throughout the season, adding greenery and fresh flavours to home-cooked dishes – as well as a flourishing addition to a garden or backdoor area to nurture over the coming months.
Tickets cost £25 per person and includes a filled terracotta pot, a voucher for a free tea or coffee to enjoy in Squire’s Café Bar and 10% off all plants on the day.
Activity: Summer Hanging Basket Masterclass – £30 per person, bookable online

As summer approaches, Squire’s popular Summer Hanging Basket Masterclass takes place on Wednesday 14 May, where participants will craft a vibrant hanging display, learning how to expertly layer a selection of trailing and upright plants with a striking centrepiece bloom, such as a scented geranium or fuchsia. The session will also cover essential watering, feeding and pruning techniques to keep baskets flourishing all season long.
Tickets cost £30 per person and include planted basket, a free tea or coffee voucher to enjoy in Squire’s Café Bar, plus 10% off all plants in-store on the day.
