Squire’s Garden Centres has a great new interactive farmyard experience for children to enjoy this August. Called “Patches Playtime” children of all ages can discover life down on the (animatronic!) farm at Squire’s in Badshot Lea and Stanmore.

There are two great shows with farm animal puppets, you get to create and take home a flower windmill, meet Patches the scarecrow, and plant a magic carrot seed that grows into an organic carrot to munch on when you get home! You’ll also receive a recipe sheet packed with facts on how vegetables grow. Plus very little children can enjoy digging for potatoes, and washing the life-like cow and her calves.

Patches Playtime is open every day from 1st to 31st August between 10am-4pm at Squire’s in Badshot Lea and Stanmore.

Tickets cost £6.50 per child per hour (adults are free), and can be purchased online at www.squiresgardencentres.co.uk or at Squire’s on the day. Entrance to the pasture is on the hour, every hour, with the last entrance at 3pm. There are no real animals in the pasture. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
