Squire’s Awards £5,000 To Community Gardening Projects

Squire’s Garden Centres has awarded £5,000 in gardening vouchers to ten local community gardening projects as part of its ‘Love Where You Live’ 2025 programme. Following the successful re-launch of the initiative last year, the programme continues to support projects that educate, grow produce, or provide health and wellbeing benefits through horticulture.

This year, ten groups have each received £500 in Squire’s vouchers, enabling them to purchase plants, tools and gardening supplies to bring their projects to life.

The combination of financial support and horticultural advice from Squire’s centre-based Plant Teams  is designed to ensure that each project flourishes and delivers lasting benefits.

Sarah Squire, Chairman of Squire’s Garden Centres, comments: “We are delighted to continue our ‘Love Where You Live’ programme for 2025 and to be supporting such a fantastic range of community gardening projects. It’s truly inspiring to see the dedication and passion of local groups who are working to create greener, healthier spaces for their communities.

“At Squire’s, we believe in giving back to the areas we serve, and this initiative allows us to do just that. We can’t wait to see the progress made and the positive impact these projects will have over the coming months.”
