Squire’s Garden Centres is once again hosting its popular Create & Grow programme this May Half Term, designed to inspire young gardeners with fun, educational activities the whole family will love.

Back by popular demand, this year’s hands-on activity is ‘Plant a Tasty Veg Pot’* – a chance for children to ‘dig in’ and plant up a pot with three vegetable plants. It’s a great way to encourage healthy eating and help children discover the rewards of growing their own food. Once planted, children can label each plant and take their creation home and watch it grow.

Advanced booking is essential for this activity, with 30-minute slots running between 9.30am and 1.30pm across the four-day period.

To add to the fun, there’s also a Garden Veg Wordsearch – a free, no-booking-required activity where children can track down hidden vegetables and collect a sticker on completion.

Whether it’s planting, puzzling or just enjoying the fresh air, Squire’s Create & Grow is a fantastic way to keep young minds and hands busy this Half Term!
