Squire’s Celebrates Success At 2024 GCA Awards

Squire’s Garden Centres celebrated a fantastic performance at the prestigious Garden Centre Association (GCA) Awards, with multiple centres recognised for their excellence across a range of categories.
The annual garden centre industry awards highlight the best in the industry, with rigorous inspections assessing everything from plant quality and inspirational displays to customer experience and innovation.
Across all three garden centre categories nationwide, ‘Destination’, ‘Garden Centre’ and ‘Local’, Squire’s once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence, securing a number of top spots in key award classes.
Among the standout achievements:
- Hersham – 2nd in the Ruxley Rose Award for Best Plant Area (Garden Centres)
- Badshot Lea – 3rd in both the Ruxley Rose Award for Best Plant Area (Destination Garden Centres) and House Plant Award (Destination Garden Centres)
- Woking & Wokingham – Joint 1st in the Indoor Lifestyle Award (Garden Centre category)
- Reigate – 3rd in the Indoor Lifestyle Award (Local Garden Centres)
- Crawley – 3rd in the Outdoor Living Award (Local Garden Centres)
- Reigate – Winner of the GCA GROW Training Award

The GCA began in 1966 and Colin Squire OBE (Chairman Emeritus, Squire’s Garden Centres) was a founding member.
