Squire’s Garden Centres in Shepperton is once again set to host a spectacular celebration of Britain’s favourite flower with its Rose Festival Weekend, taking place on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 June. The event is held in partnership with The Rose Society UK and will feature the much-anticipated National Rose Show, now in its 48th year at Squire’s.

The free-to-attend festival will showcase stunning rose displays by expert growers from across the country, with the show taking place in a marquee in the centre’s Plant Area. Visitors will be able to enjoy the exquisite sights and scents of single blooms and elaborate arrangements, alongside floral displays by Walton & Weybridge Flower Club. Adding to the festival atmosphere, there will be live music, plus food and drink tastings to enjoy throughout the weekend.

With glorious spring weather encouraging people back into their gardens, the festival promises to be the perfect inspiration for rose lovers and garden enthusiasts alike.

Colin Squire OBE, Chairman Emeritus, Squire’s Garden Centres and President of The Rose Society UK, comments: “It’s a privilege to once again host this important national show at Squire’s Shepperton. The Rose Festival is a true celebration of the rose and the growers who dedicate themselves to this most iconic of flowers. It’s an unmissable weekend for anyone who loves gardening or simply appreciates beauty and fragrance in full bloom.”

The Rose Society’s team of experts will also be on hand to share tips and advice with visitors after the judging on Saturday afternoon and throughout Sunday.
