Patches Playtime

Join us for Patches’ Playtime Pasture, a fun, family friendly, interactive farmyard themed event at Squire’s Badshot Lea and Stanmore.

Ticket holders can enjoy one hour in the pasture, and take part in all of the activities on offer!

Every hour, PATCHES THE SCARECROW welcomes children into the pasture, and introduces his farmyard friends, OLD MA STICKLEBACK and LIZZIE THE LAMB. Children are invited to explore the pasture and stroke the lifelike farmyard animals.  Younger children can dig for potatoes to feed the pigs, and wash the cow and her calves. Older children will enjoy creating high quality flower windmills to take home.

Children will enjoy two great interactive puppet shows during their hour on the pasture, featuring Dobbin the Horse, Ermintrude the Cow and Simon the Stableboy. Everyone can also enjoy the carrot patch experience where, lead by Patches, children plant a magic carrot seed which grows before their very eyes into an organic carrot to take home, along with a recipe sheet, packed with facts about how vegetables really grow.

All that, plus more fun and games – daily from 1 – 31 August, 10am – 4pm. Tickets cost just £6.50

This event is ideal for children age 5 and under, children under 12 months go free.
