10028663

French Tarragon (Artemesia dracunculus) is a woody based perennial that grows upright with long narrow shaped leaves that have the scent of aniseed. When flowering in the late summer, graceful looking yellow flowers appear at the top of each stem. The leaves from French Tarragon are edible and can be added to a wide range of dishes to enhance the flavour making it a favourite for people who like to cook. It is recommended that French Tarragon is planted in well drained soil positioned in full sun. Planted in a “Hairy Pot” that is made from used coconut husks these pots are a single use biodegradable alternative to plastic pots. Simply plant straight into the ground and they will biodegrade within a few months leaving you with no plastic waste, or you can leave them above ground for up to 12 months before they will need replacing.
