The Lavender Hidcote is one of the most popular plants and has a gardeners’ favourite fragrance. This lavender is a small bushy shrub with a beautiful fragrance. Unlike the Munstead, the Hidcote has dark purple flowers which can grow in is clusters spikes. Hidcote enjoys a sunny position and well drained compost. Lavenders attract a lot of wildlife to the garden, including bees and butterflies. The spikes can grow up to 50cm tall and the plant can reach a 1 metre spread.
