Acer Palmatum Dissectum 5 Litre

10111859

Acer Palmatum Dissectum features wonderful fine toothed, dissected leaves in shades of rich lime green and turning to a fiery orange in autumn just before the leaves drop. Acers are typically slow growing which makes them ideal shrubs for small gardens, either in open ground or a container. The profusion of colours in the leaves is contrasted by the colours of the stem, and even when the leaves have fallen the lovely bare stem provides structure in the winter garden. Acer Palmatum prefers an acidic based soil and is happy in a full sun or partial shade, but a sheltered spot is preferred. The potential height is 2m and the potential spread is 3m after 20 years growth.
