Escallonia Red Dream 10 Litre

Escallonia is a compact ever green shrub that is well known for their colourful flowers. Blooming from the summer right into the autumn months, this bushy shrub is recommended to be planted in well-drained fertile soil, protected from any cold or drying winds. Wet conditions can lead to escallonia leaf spot disease which is primarily caused by exposure to strong frosty winds that winter will endure, if in an overexposed area you can alternatively cover with some fleece to protect from any harsh conditions. Being an evergreen shrub people do experiment using these plants as a low-lying Hegde with a Potential height of roughly 1m and a spread of 1m.
