Calibrachoas, also known as Million Bells, or mini petunias, are very popular summer bedding plants creating wonderful abundant displays of many colourful blooms. The trailing habit makes them ideal for hanging baskets or just spilling over the edge of pots, containers or garden walls. They have a long flowering period from May to October whether in full sun or partial shade and will attract bees and other pollinators to your garden. Plant in well drained compost, but ensure they are well watered in the summer months. Calibrachoa Superbells Evening Star has distinctive purple flowers with golden yellow star markings dividing the petals creating an impressive display en masse. The potential height of the flowers is 20cm and the spread or trailing length is 35cm.
