An ideal shrub for growing against a fence or wall, Ceanothus Silver Surprise will brighten up any dark corner and provide varied year round interest. The glossy green leaves have creamy white margins, and in late spring, the shrub is covered in light blue flowers that attract many types of pollinators. It is ideally placed in full sun in a sheltered position, and prefers moist but well drained soil. In winter the leaves will remain, providing shelter for wildlife and colourful interest for the garden. Littel maintenance is required other than a light prune of the evergreen foliage after flowering. The potential height of Ceanothus Silver Surprise is 1m and the potential spread is 1.5m after 10 years growth.
