Crocus Large Flowering Mixed Colours - 10 Bulbs

This mixture of Crocuses offers you a range of early- mid- late flowering varieties from a range of stunning colours. Being one of the first plants to blossom with an abundance of yellows, whites, striped violets and rich purples. With a diversion of foliage shapes that range from spear panicles to a simply wonderful grey-green shade, these Crocuses will provide a pivotal source of nectar for when any beneficial insect comes back out after being away for the winter. Crocuses are small yet mighty flower and so we recommend planting in groups of more than one as you’ll notice after each year the numbers will increase offering more food for any bees and butterflies. Plant bulbs from September to December 15-20cm deep and 10cm apart in fertile, well-drained soil, if planting in containers you can plant more closely simply by spacing the bulbs 1-2cm apart in a single layer, or 2-3cm apart if layering them for a showier impact.
