Knows as the 'Swiss cheese plant' due to the holes in the leaves Monstera Deliciosa makes a wonderful addition into your home. With its unusual foliage pattern Monstera Deliciosa Produces large dark green leaves that look like a slice of cheese. Monteras enjoy water so keep this on the moister side either by misting regularly or by placing a tray of pebbles soaked in water under the pot to increase humidity. Native to Panama in the jungle their ideal environment would be a high humid area with dappled sunlight which will imitate the huge trees in which the jungle can house. Growing at a faster rate than other houseplants you will notice (if given the right parameters) up to 2 feet a year of growth but will take up to three years to get to full size. Potential height is 15ft (4.5m) with a spread of 8ft (2.4m)
