Peperomia is native to Mexico and South America and are renowned for their significant leaf size and colourations. With prominent fleshy leaves that allow them to withstand drought. Being resistant to drought it is important not to overwater, what we recommend is to wait until the first few inches of the soil are dry and then water making sure the water can drain freely. Preferring a warm temperature with a high humidity some people may think that Peperomia is a tricky plant to keep however, for the best results in keeping that humidity levels up is to have the pot sat on top of a dish of pebbles that are in a small amount of water. Being native to tropical climates it is important that Peperomia doesn’t get too much sunlight so try to place in a light shaded area with dappled direct sunlight away from any south facing windows as this can burns the foliage.
