Guzmania Mixed Decorum - Bromeliad Mix 13cm

Also named 'Bromeliad' these tender plants make an amazing addition to your house plant collection. Native to rainforests these amazingly colourful plants love being in moist and humid conditions so we recommend a windowsill in your bathroom where the hot shower or bath will add humidity into the allowing the leaves to collect the water as they would naturally in the wild. Although looking exotic these easy to maintain plants are easy to care for flowering from the centre of the plant with bright shades of red, pink, yellow, orange and purple they will bloom for a few weeks before dying back but keeping the unique structure of the plant. Being native to the rainforest these are not plants that are made for being outdoors and prefer a light shaded area where no direct sunlight can burn the leaves and they dislike being too dry as this isn’t natural for them so try to aim for a room temp area of a minimum of 15*c and always water via the leaves as in the wild the rain collects in their upright leaves. Reaching no more than a potential height of 40cm with a spread of 15cm.
