Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood' 10 Litre

Acer Palmatum Bloodgood features one of the best tones of purple throughout its growing season, with very deep purples and reds being displayed from spring to autumn. These lovely colours are fantastic for highlighting shades of white and yellow and will remain until the leaves drop after autumn. This leaf has a lovely wide shape, with slender lobes. This shrub loves an acidic based soil in a full sun or partial shade position, a sheltered area is also preferred. This Acer is fantastic in a pot or in open ground and will even provide structure and colour with its lovely bare stem after the leaves have fallen.
