Zinnia Early Wonder Mixed Seeds

For an explosion of large, ornate blooms in bright colours, wild flower's zinnia early wonder mixed seeds are an ideal choice. These easy-to-grow, large showy flowers add a touch of vibrancy to your garden. Start by sowing the seeds indoors in trays of compost, keeping them in a greenhouse or cold frame, and maintaining moist soil. Transplant the seedlings 5cm apart to other trays, ensuring you handle them by the leaves. Gradually acclimate the young plants to outdoor conditions, avoiding frosts, and then plant them 30cm apart when the frosts are over. You can also sow them directly outdoors, 0.5cm deep, into finely prepared, watered soil. Expect seedlings in 14-28 days, and thin them to 30cm apart. To keep your garden looking its best, remove dead heads regularly and minimize overhead watering to prevent disease.
