Cucumber (Gherkin) Cornichon De Paris Seeds

Cucumber (gherkin) cornichon de Paris seeds produce a French heirloom variety with an abundance of mini cucumbers. These cucumbers are crisp, virtually seedless, and have a delightful, sweet flavour. Start by sowing these seeds indoors, about 0.5cm (¼”) deep, on the edge, in small pots of compost. Keep the soil moist and warm at 21-24°c (70-75°f). After the seedlings appear, transplant them to 12cm (5”) pots and gradually introduce them to outdoor conditions. Plant them 60cm (2') apart once the last frost has passed. Pinch out the growing tip when six leaves have formed to encourage side shoots. Alternatively, you can sow these seeds directly outdoors in prepared, watered soil. These cucumbers thrive in fertile, well-drained soil and should be picked when they are up to 5cm (2”) long for the sweetest flavour.
