Cucumber Louisa F1 Seeds

Cucumber Louisa f1 seeds are a top-quality 'female' variety known for high yields of long and slender cucumbers, perfect for the greenhouse or polytunnel. They are also resistant to powdery mildew and target leaf spot. Start by sowing these seeds indoors, about 0.5cm (¼”) deep, on the edge, in small pots of compost. Keep the soil moist and warm at 20-25°c (68-77°f). After developing 3 or 4 leaves, transplant the seedlings to 12cm (5”) pots and grow them in cooler conditions. Plant them in large pots, growing bags, or the greenhouse border. Provide support for the plants, training them up canes, strings, or netting. Stop lateral growth two leaves past each fruit and pinch out growing tips that reach the roof. These cucumbers thrive in fertile, well-drained soil, and maintaining a humid atmosphere in the greenhouse is essential for success.
