Cucumber Marketmore 76 Seeds

Cucumber marketmore 76 seeds produce superb slicing cucumbers with a delicious flavour and excellent resistance to powdery and downy mildew. These cucumbers are of the outdoor ridge type. Start by sowing these seeds indoors, about 0.5cm (¼”) deep, on the edge, in small pots of compost. Keep the soil moist and warm at 21-24°c (70-75°f). After developing 3 or 4 leaves, transplant the seedlings to 12cm (5”) pots and gradually introduce them to outdoor conditions. Plant them 60cm (2') apart after the last frost. Pinch out the growing tip when six leaves have formed to encourage side shoots. Alternatively, you can sow these seeds directly outdoors in prepared, watered soil. These cucumbers thrive in fertile, well-drained soil and can also grow well in bags or large pots with proper watering and occasional feeding.
