Enhance your soil with green manure autumn/winter mix seeds. This mix includes clovers to fix nitrogen, rye grass, and white mustard to improve soil structure. Sow outdoors from September to November or through February, dig in before flowering, and reap the benefits. Prevent nutrient runoff and add valuable organic material to your soil. You can mow it before flowering to extend coverage and leave it in the ground until the soil is needed, but don't let it set seed.
