Onion (Spring) North Holland Blood Red Seeds

Onion (spring) north holland blood red seeds offer a versatile and attractive addition to your garden. These onions can be used young as salad onions or left to mature for use as bulbing onions, with their colour intensifying as they mature. Sow them outdoors, 1.5cm deep in well-prepared soil, with 15cm between rows. Early sowings may benefit from cloche protection. For spring onions, no thinning is necessary, but do keep them well-watered in dry spells. Regular sowings every two to three weeks ensure a continuous supply through the summer. If you're growing bulbing onions, sow them no later than April, thin the seedlings to 8cm apart, and start harvesting from July onwards. This variety is well-suited for your salads and other culinary delights.
