Welcome to the Squire’s Twickenham page, I am Julie the Centre Manager

Roof Improvements – We are currently replacing our 30 year old roof with a new insulated roof which will reduce our energy consumption and support solar panels. Air cooling will also be installed in the Café Bar.

The garden centre will remain open throughout the project which is split into several phases to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum. During this time, we will continue to sell our gardening and gift products and our Plant Area will remain open and fully stocked

We are celebrating our centres 60th Anniversary this year! – Find out about our history here.

Squire’s Garden Centres in Twickenham originally opened in 1964 and was the first centre to be opened by Squire’s, as well as being one of the first garden centres to be built in the UK.  This centre was awarded the UK Plant retailer of the year in 2012, 2015 and 2016. You will also discover a wide range of gardening products, garden furniture, BBQs, gifts and more. Whatever your gardening experience and skill, Squire’s is the perfect place to gain inspiration and ideas, learn from our enthusiastic and well-trained team, and choose beautiful and high quality plants for your garden.

Our garden centre has a stylish Café Bar with indoor and outdoor seating and is the ideal place to enjoy breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. It was refurbished in October 2023 to give a contemporary look with a stylish blue and green colour scheme, incorporating furniture and décor as well as improved lighting, a refreshed conservatory area and new outdoor furniture.

Inside our shop you will find a huge selection of gardening products, homeware and gifts. There is also a comprehensive pets and aquatics department. We sell Koi and pond fish which have been carefully selected by our team and are available seasonally. Please give us a call to check availability. As well as this, throughout the year there is a calendar of adult and children events.

The centre is located within easy reach of Bushy Park and the Thames. It is just 200 metres from Fulwell train station.
