Friends of Squire’s

Our Rewards App and card is our way of saying thank you for shopping with us.  

General Terms

The promoter of Friends of Squire’s is D. J. Squire & Co., Ltd, trading as Squire’s Garden Centres, registered company number 00316151

By joining the Friends of Squire’s loyalty programme, we will collect and use personal information about you in accordance with data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy. This personal information includes your registration details, information about the use of your Loyalty Card, shopping purchases and other information that you give us. It will be used to administer the loyalty programme, provide you with benefits, personalising your offers and to keep you updated with our latest news. 

These terms and conditions and are correct as of February 2025. They will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts. Squire’s Garden Centres reserves the right to change these at any time, on reasonable notice for legal, regulatory, business or policy reasons. Members who continue to participate in the programme following such a change will be considered to have accepted the updated terms and conditions.

A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these terms and conditions, but this shall not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists or is available apart from that Act.

Members are only entitled to participate in one loyalty account each.

Squire’s Garden Centres reserves the right to refuse, merge or close additional accounts at any time.

Loyalty accounts and vouchers cannot be transferred, bought, sold or traded in any way and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. Terms and conditions of voucher use will apply and will be stated on each voucher issued. 

All vouchers issued are non-transferable. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer, voucher or gift card. Offers subject to availability and while stocks last.

If the loyalty programme reasonably suspects abuse, fraud or misconduct in respect of use of the card, it may refuse to issue and/or cancel digital stamps or vouchers. You may not rely on any human or software error which results in the award of points or vouchers to which you are not entitled under these conditions. 

If no transaction occurs by a member in any consecutive twelve-month period, any offers and/or vouchers may not be issued.

Joining the loyalty programme  

Your name, full postal address, email address, date of birth must be provided for a card to be registered. Applicants must be aged 18 or over and must have a resident UK, Channel Island or Isle of Man address. Squire’s Garden Centres reserves the right to refuse an application at its sole discretion. 

Members will need a valid email address to register your card/ sign up to our app. If you do not register your card /app you will not become a member or eligible for other offers and promotions available to members.  

Squire’s Garden Centres will use your email address to administer the loyalty programme, communicate our T&Cs and send you information about the current offers. If you don’t want to receive marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at the bottom of the emails. However, by unsubscribing, you won’t be able to see all the great offers available to you without logging in to the app. 

Biometric Login

For enhanced security and ease, the Friends of Squire’s mobile application may offer biometric login capabilities, including but not limited to thumbprint or facial recognition. This feature is optional and can be used by a member at their discretion.

By opting into enabling the Biometric Login feature, you consent to the use of your data solely for the purpose of identity verification and application access. This data will be encrypted and stored securely on your device.

Members are responsible for ensuring that their biometric data is kept secure and for not allowing others to access their account via Biometric Login.

Members can change or disable the Biometric Login feature at any time through the Application settings. Upon disabling, Members will be required to use alternative login methods, such as a password.

Squire’s Garden Centres shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or unauthorised access to a Member’s account through the Biometric Login feature.

Birthday Treat

Members who provide their date of birth at point of application or by updating their details within their App will be issued a birthday treat voucher on or around the birth date they supply. Expiry date and other terms and conditions will be displayed on the member’s voucher. Members will only be entitled to one birthday voucher per year.

Squire’s Garden Centres reserve the right to change or withdraw the birthday treat at any time. 

Hot Drinks Reward

Members will be provided with a hot drinks reward in their App which will issue a voucher for a free hot drink after the member purchases 9 hot drinks at full price. The member must scan their App card for each of the 9 hot drinks purchased to qualify for this offer. Iced-coffees, milkshakes and smoothies also qualify. Hot drinks excludes children’s hot drinks. The expiry date and other terms and conditions will be displayed on the member’s voucher.

Squire’s Garden Centres reserve the right to change or withdraw the Hot Drink Reward at any time. 

£5 Frequent Friends Reward

Members will be provided with a £5 Frequent Friends Reward in their App which will issue a voucher for a £5 off to spend in the Garden Centre. The voucher will be issued after the member makes 5 visits to the garden centre, within 12 months and spends £10 or more on Garden Centre purchases. The member must scan their App /card for each of the visits to qualify for this offer. Exclusions are Cafe Bar, gift cards, gift vouchers, gas, stamps and concessions. The expiry date and other terms and conditions will be displayed on the member’s voucher. Only one visit per day will qualify.

Squire’s Garden Centres reserve the right to change or withdraw the £5 Frequent Friends Reward at any time. 

Prize Draws 

We may invite members to enter a prize draw. Members may be required to make a purchase from Squire’s Garden Centres and to scan their App card during the transaction.

Winners will be selected via a randomised computer process. The draw will be made within 5 working days of the closing date and winners will be contacted within 14 days.

Squire’s Garden Centres will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners. However, if a winner has not responded to notification within 14 days of the first attempt, or if a selected winner is ineligible, in breach of these rules, or unable to take up the prize for any other reason, an alternative winner will be drawn using the same methodology as above. The process will repeat until an eligible winner is able to claim the prize.

Squire’s Garden Centres cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery.

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.

Squire’s Garden Centres reserves the right in its absolute discretion to withdraw or amend without notice this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control or for such other reason as we deem appropriate.

The decisions of Squire’s Garden Centres are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Instant In-store Prize Promotions  

To enter, members may be required to make any purchase from Squire’s Garden Centres and to scan their App card during the transaction.

Winners will be selected via a randomised computer process within Squire’s Garden Centres till system and will be issued a coupon into their on the day.

The prize coupon can be used by the winner on any future transactions within the valid period from the date of issue. The value of the prize coupon must be spent in full on one single transaction and no part payment will be accepted so any funds not used will be lost. All other terms and conditions will be clearly presented on the coupon, along with an expiry date, within the member app.

The prize is a non-transferable discount coupon and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.

Squire’s Garden Centres reserves the right in its absolute discretion to withdraw or amend without notice this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control or for such other reason as we deem appropriate. 

The decisions of Squire’s Garden Centres are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Scan to Win – Your chance to win a £10 voucher

  • To enter, Friends of Squire’s members are required to make any purchase in any Squire’s Garden Centre between 7 November and 18 December 2025 and to scan their rewards App or card during the transaction. Excludes Café Bar transactions.
  • Winners will be selected via a randomised computer process within Squire’s Garden Centres till system and will be issued a voucher into their loyalty account on the day.
  • The £10 prize voucher can be used by the winner on any future transaction within 14 days of the date of issue. The value of the prize voucher must be spent in full on a transaction and no part payment accepted whereby any funds not used will be lost. All other terms and conditions will be clearly presented on the voucher, along with an expiry date, within the Friends of Squire’s App.
  • The prize is a non-transferable £10 voucher and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.  
  • The prize voucher cannot be used to purchase gas, gift cards, concessions and stamps.

Termination of Membership

We would be sorry to see you leave but you may terminate your App at any time in which case all points on the card and vouchers issued shall be lost. 

Steps to delete your App account:

Step 1 – Log into your App

Step 2 – Press the Account icon at the bottom of your App

Step 3 – Select the tab called ‘Details’

Step 4 – Scroll to the bottom and tap ‘Permanently Delete Account’

Step 5 – Enter your App password and press ‘DELETE’

Step 6 – Your customer record is permanently deleted immediately.

Steps to delete your card account, or App account if you have deleted the App:

Email FOS@squiresgardencentres.co.uk and request for your account to be deleted.

Gift Cards

Squire’s Gift Cards:

  • Gift cards are valid for five years from date of purchase.
  • Gift cards are redeemable in-store at any Squire’s Garden Centre including the Café Bar and Mambo Jambos Pottery Painting.
  • The value of purchases will be deducted from the card balance. No change will be given but the balance may be applied to future purchases.
  • This card cannot be exchanged for cash or any other gift vouchers.
  • The minimum amount required to activate gift card is £5. Amount can be added in increments of £5.
  • Squire’s cannot be held liable for lost, stolen or damaged gift cards. It will not be replaced or its value refunded in any of these circumstances.
  • The gift cards remain the property of Squire’s Garden Centres and is not a cheque guarantee, credit or charge card.
  • Squire’s reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and/or discontinue the card at anytime.
  • By activating and or redeeming this gift card you accept and agree to our terms and conditions.

Events

Masterclasses:

Santa’s Magical Grotto 2025 (All centres ex Squire’s Chertsey, Cobham &  Reigate)

  • Every Sunday, 11am – 4pm

  • Tickets can be purchased online or in-store.
  • £10 per child (includes wrapped gift) 2 adults go free (£1 per additional adult)
  • £1 from every ticket will be donated to the centre’s Charity of the Year.
  • Children will receive a wonderful wrapped gift and an ‘I’ve Seen Santa’ badge

  • Babies under one may attend. If you would like them to receive a gift, a ticket must be purchased.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your chosen time. There will be a short wait to visit Santa in his grotto.

  • Breakfast with Santa runs every Sunday from Sunday 23 November to Sun 21st December at 8.30am. Breakfast with Santa is also at Hare Hatch on Saturday mornings from 22 November at 8am.

    • Children’s 4 item breakfast – scrambled egg, smoked bacon, pork sausage and baked beans. Apple juice or orange juice
    • Adult’s 6 item breakfast – scrambled egg, smoked bacon, pork sausage, baked beans, hash brown and toast. Americano with or without milk or tea or juice.
    • Meat items can be swapped for a vegan sausage. Please indicate in the dietary requirements box online at the time of booking.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the event
  • Tickets will be emailed to you after booking. Please bring your tickets with you on the day, either printed or on your phone.
  • Our grottos are mainly outside so please dress accordingly.
  • Maximum group size is 5 people.
  • Tickets are non-refundable or transferable

  • All adults and children are required to pre-purchase a ticket (Children must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder)

Christmas Lunch 2025 (All centres except Squire’s Chertsey)

  • A £10 non-refundable deposit per person to be paid at time of booking.

  • The deposit will be deducted from the total bill on the day of your booking.

The Jingle Trail

Adult Christmas Pottery Painting Evening – Thursday 4 Dec 2025

  • At Mambo Jambo’s Washington
  • Thursday 4 Dec, 6-7.30pm
  • Booking essential
  • Studio fee is £3.50 per person, plus the cost of the pottery item you choose. The studio fee covers the equipment, paints, glaze and firing.
  • Once painted, your pottery will be glazed and fired, ready for you to collect within 14 days to give as a Christmas present if you wish.

Competitions

Social Media Competitions:

  • The promoter is: Squire’s Garden Centres
  • Employees of Squire’s Garden Centres or their family members shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
  • There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  • Closing date for entry is stated on Squire’s Garden Centres’ Facebook and Instagram pages and website. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  • Squire’s reserves the right to close a social media competition early if deemed necessary.
  • No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  • The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  • No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and Squire’s Garden Centres reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  • Winners will be chosen by Google’s Random Number Generator programme.
  • The draw will be made within 5 working days of the closing date. The winner will be notified via Facebook or Instagram within 14 days after the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 3 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  • The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
  • By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 Café Bar Bookings

Café Bar Table Bookings:

  • We encourage you to pop into our Café Bar, however, tables may be booked at certain times of year.
  • The food on our menu will be the only food available to order. If you have an allergy or intolerance, please let a member of our team know on the day.
  • If you are unable to make your booking, please kindly call us as soon as possible, or follow the cancellation link on your booking confirmation.
  • Squire’s gift cards are accepted.
