Squire’s Garden Centre in Badshot Lea has recently unveiled a re-designed new-look Café Bar, bringing customers not one, but two distinct eating areas and a choice of dining style.  Over the summer months, visitors can now enjoy the re-freshed Café Bar – as well as a separate Coffee Shop – while enjoying a ‘Limited Edition’ Summer Cream Tea – two great reasons to pay the centre a visit this season!

The special cream tea includes a delicious Raspberry & White Chocolate Cheesecake, scone, jam and clotted cream, with a choice of a regular cup of tea or coffee.  Priced at £8.95, it is available daily during the summer months.

Sarah Squire, Chairman of Squire’s Garden Centres, comments: “As well as the scent of mown lawns, cottage gardens and roses, a delicious cream tea is another summertime memory!  We know our customers enjoy tasting the new sweet treats we bring to our menus and we are sure they will be delighted with this special seasonal ‘Limited Edition’ combination that evokes summer flavours.  It’s a great way to finish a visit to our Badshot Lea centre over the summer months.”

In response to customer demand, the popular Squire’s Badshot Lea Café Bar experience now offers a restaurant as well as a coffee shop.  The new, separate coffee shop has been designed for customers who want to pop in for a hot drink and sweet treat, offering speedy counter service and with no need to book, all in relaxed décor setting.  The restaurant area offers a stylish, light and airy space which will continue to offer Squire’s extensive menu with its famed breakfast and lunches, with table waiting service and tables can be booked in advance.

Squire’s Badshot Lea also has an outdoor seating area for alfresco eating, allowing customers to enjoy a view of the plant area too, perfect for the summer months.

Sarah Squire, Chairman of Squire’s Garden Centres, comments: “I am delighted that our new look Café Bar has been so well-received at Badshot Lea and is really being enjoyed! We know the Café Bar is a hugely popular destination for many customers visiting for different reasons, so being able offer two separate eating areas is very welcomed and a great place to meet family and friends with a warm Squire’s welcome.”

In addition, the inside of the garden centre has been treated to a refreshed look in its gifting, cards and houseplants area, with new flooring and décor, delivering an enhanced light and bright customer shopping experience.
