Spring Events At Squire’s

This Spring, Squire’s has a range of activities that will appeal to both adults and children alike!  With a Bottle Garden Masterclass and Orchid Talks in March for adult visitors and fun Easter holiday Create & Grown activities for the children, there is something to appeal to everyone.

In March, customers are invited to come along and create a stunning Bottle Garden in a seasonal Planting Masterclass on Friday, 10th March, at 10am and 2pm at all centres (except Chertsey).  Squire’s experts will show attendees how to create an indoor garden, ideal for a windowsill or tabletop.  Bottle gardens are low maintenance and a fun way to add greenery to a room – with the added benefit if certain plants are included, they can help detoxify the air in the home.  Tickets costs £35 per person and include the bottle garden, a free tea or coffee voucher to be enjoyed in Squire’s Café Bar, plus 10% of all plants on the day.

Join our orchid expert later in the month for Squire’s Orchid Talks taking place in 4 centres, offering advice and tips on how to look after orchids, encouraging flowering and how to re-pot them.  Visitors are welcome to bring their own orchid along for a handy MOT too!  Talks will run on Wednesday, 15th March – 10.30am at Squire’s Badshot Lea and 2.30pm at Squire’s Woking and on Thursday, 16th March – 10.30am at Squire’s Shepperton and 4pm at Squire’s Long Ditton with tickets priced at £12 per person to include talk, MOT, a complimentary hot drink and  £5 voucher of any orchid* purchased on the day.

In April, Squire’s will host their ever popular Create & Grow activities to keep little ones entertained! With two activities planned – Plant a Colourful Easter Basket (£6.50 per child), complete with three plants in a wicker basket and rafia bow – and a Bunny Hunt (£2.50 per child) around the centre following clues (with a chocolate treat).  Choose one or both, there will be lots of fun to be enjoyed!  Activities run from Monday, 3rd to Friday, 14th April (weekdays only and excludes Bank Holidays).  Advanced booking is essential and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times (excludes Squire’s Chertsey).
