Squire’s Chertsey Welcomes Ben Back to the Team

Ben Bourne has recently been appointed as Garden Centre Manager at Squire’s Garden Centres Chertsey.

Previously Assistant Manager at Squire’s Long Ditton, Ben was Furniture Manager at Squire’s Milford and Badshot Lea, Duty Manager at Hersham as well as holding various Assistant Manager positions at Squire’s West Horsley, Long Ditton – as well as Chertsey.

Sarah Squire, Chairman of Squire’s Garden Centres, comments: “It is always a privilege to promote members of our team to managership roles and see individuals progress their careers with us. I am delighted that Ben is now Centre Manager at Chertsey and will lead the team there.  Ben is a valued colleague and his great enthusiasm will come shining through.  I would like to wish Ben every success in his new role. Having been Assistant Manager at Chertsey in recent years, this is a wonderful welcome back!”

Commenting on his new appointment, Ben said: “I am really excited to be re-joining the Squire’s Chertsey team and using the experience I have gained over seven years within the business.  Chertsey is a unique boutique-style garden centre with a passionate team and I’m really looking forward to the coming months ahead in my new role as Centre Manager.”

Squire’s Chertsey was re-opened in March 2017, following a complete rebuild.  It has a delightful outdoor plant area which includes a carefully selected range of plants, shrubs and trees, chosen and cared for by our plant experts.  Aside from the interesting range of gardening products, gifts and homewares, Squire’s Chertsey also has a stylish Café Bar, serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, located in an octagon-shaped building that dates back to the Napoleonic Wars.  Squire’s Chertsey is open 7 days a week with on-site parking available.
