Squire’s Frensham Celebrates 5 Years in Summer Style!
Squire’s Frensham enjoyed celebrating the 5th anniversary of its acquisition by local family business Squire’s Garden Centres last week with a summer tea party for distinguished guests, and representatives from the centre’s local ‘Charity of the Year’, Woodlarks Campsite Trusts.
A glorious sunny afternoon welcomed guests who were treated to a special afternoon tea expertly prepared and presented by the Squire’s Frensham team and hosted by Colin Squire OBE and his daughter, Sarah. Guests included Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, Michael More-Molyneux and his wife Sarah, Wendy Varcoe MBE from Surrey Hills Enterprise, along with representatives from the centre’s charity of the year, Woodlarks Campsite Trusts. The event also served to celebrate the relationship between the garden centre and the community it serves with many regular customers attending. Representatives of the charity delivered a short speech about their successful and valued partnership with the Squire’s team at Frensham. Attendees enjoyed music from a talented local Farnham jazz trio and a charity raffle raising £200 for Woodlarks.
Sarah Squire, Chairman of Squire’s Garden Centres, comments: “I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to those who attended event to mark our anniversary – the afternoon was a wonderful celebration, with many of our local customers attending. With wonderful weather, music and food the afternoon truly illustrated the role the centre has in the local community and how much we value the special connection with our customers and the charity our team supports.”
