Squire’s Long Ditton Supports Princess Alice Hospice

Squire’s Long Ditton has chosen Princess Alice Hospice, Esher, as its ‘Charity of the Year’ with the aim of helping the charity increase its fundraising effort while using its horticultural expertise to assist with the hospice’s garden projects.

Corporate Partnerships Lead, Tim Iredale, recently visited Squire’s Long Ditton, meeting Centre Manager, Anne Dedman, to discuss potential fundraising ideas and ways the two organisations can work together over the coming months.

Sarah Squire, Chairman of Squire’s Garden Centres comments; “We believe it is so important to work with and be part of the local communities in which we are located.  In support of this, every year each of our garden centres choose to support a local charity which means something to the centre team.  I am delighted our Long Ditton team has decided to support Princess Alice Hospice.

“Over the course of the coming year, our centres will help raise awareness of their chosen charity and importantly, help raise much needed funds for them.  We are extremely grateful to our customers and colleagues for their support and generosity in helping these brilliant local causes and even more so during challenging times.”
