Squire’s Serves up Customer Favourites in New Seasonal Menu
Sarah Squire, Chairman of Squire’s Garden Centres, comments: “We are delighted to offer our new menu which sees a great selection of dishes arrive in our Café Bars perfectly timed for the new spring and summer season, these include some exciting new arrivals as well as some customer favourites, which I’m sure will delight our guests!”

Heading up the ‘Main’ menu dishes is the return of some ‘Squire’s Favourites’ including three tasty fish dishes – Fish Finger* Sandwich comprising chunky cod goujons with rocket, wholetail Scampi & Chips, as well as Hand-battered Fish & Chips*. Joining the parade of delicious flavours is Ham, Egg & Chips and new addition, Chicken Tikka Masala Curry. Fresh flavours have been added to Squire’s salad selection include the colourful Greenhouse Salad with beetroot falafel or grilled halloumi and a classic Chicken Caesar Salad.
Meanwhile, Squire’s ‘Light Bites’ offering includes dishes perfect for guests with a smaller appetite or looking for something a little less filling. The tasty selection includes new additions, Breaded Whitebait*, served with rocket and Red Pepper Houmous served with micro herbs, warm flatbread and crudites. The ‘Light Bites’ line-up includes welcome favourites including Welsh Rarebit as well as Halloumi & Harissa Flatbread with red onion, spinach and chargrilled tomato chutney. A new addition to the sandwich selection is Red Pepper Houmous & Cucumber, withcarrot and red onion.
Sweet Treats
Lovers of Squire’s famed cakes can be sure to find their favourite sweet treat on the cake counter, with Café Bars serving the best-selling cakes all day, every day, including Coffee & Walnut, Victoria Sponge, Chocolate Fudge as well as Toffee Torment. The Squire’s Tea Cake, which makes the perfect accompaniment to a tea or coffee break at any time, is now available throughout the day, proving to be a firm customer favourite.
Why not welcome the season with a Squire’s new Afternoon Tea treat? This quintessential British tradition includes Squire’s scone selection (plain, fruit or gluten free) freshly baked in the Café Bar* as well as jam of choice, fresh clotted cream, sandwiches and a selection of petit fours and served with a choice of unlimited tea, either English Breakfast or Earl Grey Tea (advanced booking essential – with vegetarian, gluten free and vegan preferences available).
Squire’s Café Bars are open 7 days a week, serving a comprehensive menu throughout the day including Breakfast, Lunch, Sweet Treats and Afternoon Tea, along with free, convenient parking. Tables may be booked in advance by visiting Squire’s website or popping into the Café Bar and book in person.
