Squire’s Garden Centre in Woking will be hosting a special ‘Curry & Quiz Night’ on Thursday, 14th July, with profits going the centre’s chosen ‘Charity of the Year’, LinkAble*, a local charity which supports adults and children with learning disabilities.
Ed Ridgeon, Centre Manager at Squire’s Woking, comments: “We wanted to do something significant for our Charity of the Year, LinkAble, and the idea of hosting a Quiz Night appealed to the team, with one colleague even keen to take on the role as Quiz Master and compere for the evening! This is a great chance to meet people in our local community, while supporting our charity which is close to many local people’s hearts
“The event will take place in our light and airy Café Bar and tickets cost £20 per person, with teams of 4-6 persons, and include a welcome drink and curry meal cooked on site by our team. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd team winners. There will be a charity prize drawer taking place during the evening, with the star prize being a gas BBQ as well as many other great prizes on offer. We will also have entertaining, live music.
“We would encourage people to book early, either purchasing tickets online or when visiting the store, as tickets are limited. It promises to be a fun and informative evening and one we are very much looking forward to hosting for such a tremendous cause.”

The curry meal will include chicken curry, vegetable curry (vegan), naan bread and onion bhaji rice. There will be a bar available for the duration of the evening. Squire’s Garden Centre Woking will not be open during the event.
