A much-loved British tradition, the cream tea has been enjoyed by the nation since 1662 according to the Cream Tea Society. Whether you prefer your scones with cream then jam (the Devon way), or jam then cream (the Cornish way), there’s no doubt that the British Cream Tea is as popular now as it has ever been.
